LEMA Construction Awarded Albert Whitted Airport Southwest Hangar Redevelopment.
LEMA Construction was the lowest bidder for Albert Whitted Airport Southwest Hangar Redevelopment. The redevelopment consists of construct/install aircraft tie-down apron; replace two (2) existing T-Hangars (Nos. 7 and 8) with two (2) new T-Hangars; and construct two (2) new Shade Hangars (Nos. 15 and 16).
This project must use no less than 20% recycled materials including steel and concrete. All metal and concrete must be purchased within a 500 mile radius from Albert Whitted Airport. And a minimum of 75% of all materials during demolition must be recycled or salvaged.
