Haddy’s AI-powered Microfactory in Downtown St. Petersburg
LEMA Construction has successfully transformed a 32,000-square-foot facility at 251 10th Street North in Downtown St. Petersburg into Haddy’s cutting-edge microfactory. This facility serves as Haddy’s global headquarters and is equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies to produce sustainable, AI-powered 3D-printed furniture. The project involved extensive renovations to accommodate specialized equipment and operational needs, ensuring the facility meets the high standards required for advanced manufacturing processes.
Central to the facility’s operations are CEAD’s Flexbot systems, versatile robotic solutions designed for large-scale additive manufacturing. These systems integrate CEAD’s pellet extrusion technology with Siemens’ Sinumerik CNC and Comau robotic arms, enabling precise 3D printing and milling of complex designs. The Flexbot’s modular design allows for scalability and customization, supporting Haddy’s commitment to sustainable production using recyclable materials. Additionally, Siemens’ AI technology enhances the facility’s capabilities, optimizing production efficiency and supporting Haddy’s vision of a circular economy through intelligent manufacturing processes.
