LEMA Construction proudly marked a significant milestone with the Topping Off Ceremony for the new STEM Center for Student Success at Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) in Dade City. As the final steel beam was placed, it wasn’t just a construction tradition—it was a celebration of progress, partnership, and the promise of a brighter future for the community.

This moment is more than the sum of steel and concrete. It symbolizes a long-term investment in education, innovation, and opportunity—a space that will soon empower the next generation of scientists, engineers, and creative problem-solvers.

We were honored to welcome Florida Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson to the ceremony. Commissioner Simpson played a critical role in advancing this project during his time as Florida Senate President representing Pasco County. His presence and remarks underscored the importance of strategic investment in education and infrastructure for Florida’s future.

“This center will change lives—not just for students today, but for generations to come,” Simpson noted, speaking to the impact the STEM Center will have on regional development and educational access.

At LEMA Construction, we take great pride in building more than just buildings—we build purpose-driven spaces that serve as launching pads for growth, learning, and community advancement. This STEM Center is a shining example of what can be accomplished through strong public partnerships and a shared vision for the future.

As construction moves forward, we remain committed to delivering a facility that inspires, supports, and prepares students for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
